UI-UX Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative UI/UX Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for designing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces while also ensuring an exceptional user experience. As a UI/UX Designer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and other designers to create cutting-edge digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting forefront UX research and meticulously documenting discoveries
• Conducting workshops to foster idea generation and foster collaboration among stakeholders and users
• Utilizing various research methods to gather user needs and feedback effectively
• Developing personas based on comprehensive user research insights
• Establishing interaction models and assessing their effectiveness
• Identifying business processes and use cases, and structuring user journeys accordingly
• Crafting visualizations such as storyboards, user flows, and site maps to enhance understanding
• Delivering design solutions to stakeholders through compelling presentations
• Cooperating closely with other Developers to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality
• Participating actively in broader UX Chapter initiatives by sharing knowledge and engaging in feedback sessions.

Profile and Experience Required

• Proficiency in creating low-fidelity wireframes and user flows utilizing Figma.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a proven track record of delivering work to exceptional standards.
• Expertise in utilizing design software including Figma, as well as presentation tools such as PowerPoint and Miro.
• Advantageous familiarity with implementing design systems within Figma.
• Mandatory formal qualifications such as a master’s degree or certification in UX.
• Extensive 7-year history of applying design thinking methodologies within agile project settings.
• Demonstrated proficiency over 7 years in employing both qualitative and quantitative research techniques.
• 3 years of practical experience in interaction design and developing information architecture.

• Maintains a constructive outlook and tackles challenges positively.
• Adaptable and open-minded when facing various tasks and situations.

• Proficient in analyzing and simplifying complex information to develop straightforward solutions.
• Possesses excellent verbal communication and presentation skills, with a natural ability to comprehend user needs.
• Skilled in crafting processes, documentation, and presentations.
• Exhibits a genuine passion for Information Technologies.
• Language proficiency: Fluency in either French OR Dutch and English is essential for user interaction, interviews, and testing. Proficiency in German is an added advantage.
