Position Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled and versatile Project Consultant – Data Specialist (Data Analyst) to join our data team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in establishing new reporting systems aligned with the deployment of upcoming applications, as well as enhancing existing reports and data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in setting up reports using Microsoft Dynamics data and migrating or reconstructing reports from previous CRM solutions.
- Actively participate in and coordinate the development of reports (both backend and frontend) for newly implemented IT applications.
- Analyze business requirements and propose innovative solutions to meet these needs.
- Enhance existing reports and data solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Construct end-to-end reports, from data ingestion to final presentation, utilizing Power BI and other relevant tools.
- Utilize strong SQL skills and familiarity with AWS/Redshift for data management and reporting tasks.
- Effectively interpret and challenge business requirements to ensure alignment with technical capabilities.
- Bridge the gap between business and IT by communicating effectively with stakeholders and team members.
Skills Required
- Proficient knowledge in constructing end-to-end reports, with experience in data ingestion, transformation, and visualization.
- Familiarity with Power BI both in its backend and frontend functionalities.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics for reporting and data management.
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with AWS/Redshift are desired.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English and either Dutch and/or French.
- Ability to grasp complex systems and offer innovative solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Curiosity and willingness to ask pertinent questions to drive continuous improvement.
- Experience in data analysis, including proficiency in statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or QlikView.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Understanding of database management systems and data warehousing concepts.
