Job Description
The tester’s responsibility encompasses functional and technical testing of software products, web applications, and microservices to ensure they are error-free and provide an optimal user experience for the end product.
Working within an Agile environment, the tester collaborates with a self-managing team focused on continuously enhancing applications through optimization.
Your role involves supporting the team by testing the stories they develop during the sprint, preventing errors, and ensuring the end user receives the best experience possible. Additionally, you assist in filtering issues from other sources to improve team efficiency and issue quality.
Responsibilities
- Develop test cases based on provided stories in collaboration with the team across various technologies and projects.
- Execute test cases and ensure the stability of end products.
- Report and follow up on found errors, as well as prepare test data as needed.
- Manage and monitor available test data, utilizing tools such as Jira, Sharepoint, Browserstack, Lambdatest, Office 365, and SQL databases.
- Develop automated test cases for new applications/microservices and update existing ones as needed.
- Configure Cypress and Newman/Postman tests in a CI/CD pipeline, utilizing tools such as Cucumber, Java, Selenium, Cypress, and Newman/Postman.
