We are looking for a seasoned Business Analyst Expert with strong expertise in banking transactions. The role involves identifying business needs, defining strategies, and ensuring alignment between business stakeholders and IT. The successful candidate will drive improvements in banking transaction services while ensuring compliance with industry practices and customer expectations.
Function Description
- Identify business needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Propose product and service improvements in the area of banking transactions.
- Develop business requirements and define acceptance criteria.
- Act as the main interface between stakeholders and project management.
- Bridge business requirements with IT solutions.
- Define the business scope, target operating model, and interfaces (Business and IT).
Language Requirements
- Dutch: Good spoken communication skills

- English: Strong written and spoken communication skills
Education
- Master’s Degree in Business Management or equivalent through experience.
Required Experience & Knowledge
- At least 6 years of relevant professional experience.
Technical Experience
Mandatory:
- Strong understanding of technical aspects of banking transactions.
Preferable:
- Broader technical expertise across banking transaction systems and standards.
Business Experience
Mandatory:
- Proven expertise in banking transactions.
- Strong knowledge of the Belgian banking industry (key players, trends, regulatory environment).
- Experience in business analysis, with ability to link complex business topics to IT deliverables.

- Broader experience in financial products and services.
