Business Analyst

Job Summary

As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing business efficiency and performance by meticulously analyzing processes, systems, and requirements. Through collaboration with stakeholders and development teams, you will translate user needs into detailed functional specifications, ensuring seamless software development and implementation. Your keen eye for detail will drive gap analysis, identifying discrepancies and proposing effective solutions. Additionally, you’ll harness data analysis to unearth trends and insights, facilitating informed decision-making. Your responsibilities will extend to documentation maintenance, user acceptance testing, and end-user support and training.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analyze and comprehend business processes, systems, and requirements to pinpoint opportunities for enhancement and optimization.
2. Collaborate closely with stakeholders and development teams to gather and document user requirements effectively.
3. Translate user requirements into comprehensive functional specifications to guide software development and implementation.
4. Conduct thorough gap analysis to detect discrepancies and recommend suitable solutions.
5. Utilize data analysis techniques to identify trends and insights that support informed decision-making.
6. Develop and uphold documentation standards, including user manuals and system documentation.
7. Perform user acceptance testing to ensure system functionality aligns with requirements.
8. Provide responsive end-user support and training, addressing queries and concerns related to system functionality.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience of at least 5 years as a Functional/Technical Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong analytical prowess and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Solid understanding of business analysis methodologies and best practices.
• Knowledge of Atlassian applications Jira and Confluence is advantageous.
• Expected to be on-site for a minimum of 3 days a week.
• Motivated and passionate about learning, sharing, helping, and delivering results.
