Business Analyst – IAM (Identity and Access Management)

Location: Brussels (Hybrid)


Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst with proven experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) to support the continuous improvement and delivery of access control solutions and services.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate internal customer needs into structured IAM requirements and use cases
  • Design solution proposals and functional specifications based on business and technical inputs
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and project teams to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables
  • Conduct functional analysis of security-related processes across multiple business lines
  • Document IAM processes and contribute to improving the IAM operating model and governance
  • Liaise with stakeholders and internal clients to ensure effective service delivery
  • Contribute to the evolution of IAM tooling and support the implementation of new IAM functionalities
  • Participate actively in defining the target IAM solution and delivery roadmap
  • Promote standardization and best practices in requirements gathering and IAM design

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in the IAM domain
  • Strong knowledge of requirements engineering, functional analysis, and process modeling
  • Proficient in designing use cases and technical/functional specifications
  • Knowledge of process management tools and methodologies
  • Understanding of access user management on various systems (e.g., Windows, Unix, Mainframe)
  • Strong understanding of IAM governance, security models, and operating models
  • Fluent in English (written & spoken); good command of French and Dutch

Preferred Qualifications & Tools:

  • Knowledge of SailPoint, ServiceNow, and Cloud IAM (IaaS/PaaS)
  • Experience with RBAC, Segregation of Duties, and security compliance standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, NIST)
  • Experience in the financial services sector is a strong plus
  • Background in Information Security or IST environment

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent professional experience
