Senior Windows System Administrator

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Windows System Administrator to join our Windows Server Team. This role is essential in maintaining, managing, and optimizing Windows infrastructure while ensuring system reliability and security. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Citrix, and IT infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle 2nd and 3rd line incident resolution for Windows systems
• Manage and implement small system and service enhancements
• Execute line-of-business releases on application servers
• Perform maintenance and administration of Citrix XenDesktop Servers and Remote Desktop Session Hosts
• Maintain and optimize the Windows Server environment
• Configure and manage Windows Infrastructure Services (DHCP, DNS, PXE) and firewall technologies
• Ensure system security and compliance through best practices
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve system performance and reliability

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Windows Server administration (Windows Server 2016 or higher)
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policies
• Strong expertise in Windows Infrastructure Services (DHCP, DNS, PXE) and Firewalling technology
• Experience in Microsoft 365 technologies (Exchange Online, Teams, Authentication)
• Proven experience as a System Administrator, including setup, management, and maintenance of Windows environments
• System engineer-level knowledge of at least one specialist system (Windows, Unix/Linux, Mainframe, Middleware, Security, or Networking)
• Dutch proficiency (CEFR Level C2)

Preferred Skills :

• Knowledge of Azure DevOps Server 2022 or later
• Experience working with Citrix NetScaler 13.x, Citrix Virtual Apps, and Desktops 2402 LTSR
• Familiarity with CommVault Simpana v11 Backup solutions
• Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Protection and Microsoft Endpoint Manager (InTune)
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Failover Cluster, IIS Application Servers, and dotNET hosting
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation (Windows PowerShell, PowerShell DSC)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft System Center (Configuration Manager, Operations Manager)
• Experience with VMWare vSphere 8.0 or later, XenServer 8.x, and Tibco Spotfire Server 12.x
• Familiarity with ITIL processes, particularly change management
