Senior .NET Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in .NET (C#), ASP.NET, and front-end technologies such as Angular. You will play a key role in leading development teams, coaching junior developers, and delivering high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain .NET applications that align with business needs.
• Lead a development team and mentor junior developers.
• Execute programming tasks including coding, testing, and debugging.
• Work in an Agile Scrum environment and collaborate with analysts, developers, and stakeholders.
• Estimate project timelines and provide technical insights to functional analysts.
• Ensure applications meet high-performance and security standards.
• Develop and manage APIs, CQRS-based architectures, and cloud-based solutions (AWS/Azure).
• Work with databases like SQL Server and optimize database performance.
• Ensure applications are compliant with authentication and identity management mechanisms (ACM/IDM).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in .NET development.
• Strong expertise in .NET (C#), ASP.NET and Angular.
• Experience with CQRS/Event Sourcing architecture.
• Proficiency in SQL Server and database optimization.
• Strong knowledge of API development and integration.
• Experience in developing applications within AWS/Azure cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with authentication and identity management (ACM/IDM).
• Knowledge of software security best practices.

Soft Skills:

• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch (CEFR Level C2).
• Agile mindset and ability to adapt to changing requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in the public sector (Flemish government, federal government, etc.).
• Certifications in .NET development or cloud platforms like AWS/Azure.
• Hands-on experience with modern DevOps practices.
