We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead our Data Platform team. In this role, you will guide Agile teams working on data science and data engineering solutions, ensuring seamless collaboration, continuous improvement, and high-quality product delivery. You will foster a culture of agility, helping the team build and maintain innovative data-driven products, including recommendation algorithms and trusted datasets.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.) and ensure Scrum best practices are followed.
Coach and mentor cross-functional teams (data engineers, analysts, scientists) to maximize efficiency and collaboration.
Ensure the delivery of high-value data products that align with end-user expectations.
Foster a culture of transparency, continuous learning, and problem-solving within the team.
Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to align goals and priorities.
Remove impediments that hinder team productivity and innovation.
Use facilitation techniques to improve team collaboration and problem-solving.
Required Skills & Experience:
3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in data-related projects (data engineering, data science, analytics).
Proven ability to coach cross-functional teams and drive Agile best practices.
Experience facilitating workshops, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Strong understanding of Scaled Agile Frameworks.
Experience in data-related roles (Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Data Scientist) is preferred.
Experience in infrastructure or development projects (5+ years).
Knowledge of Agile tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.).
Fluency in Dutch (CEFR Level C2) is required.
Scrum Master/Agile Coach certification is a plus.
Experience in the media sector is a plus.
