As an Expert Leader Sourcing Strategy, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and guiding strategic sourcing processes. You will oversee both the strategic and operational aspects of sourcing workstreams, ensuring a structured approach from as-is analysis to sourcing model development, strategic option determination, and final decision-making. Your role will involve project management, risk assessment, stakeholder collaboration, and governance oversight to drive effective sourcing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end sourcing strategy process, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct as-is analysis and develop optimized sourcing models to improve efficiency.
- Identify, evaluate, and guide decision-making on strategic sourcing options.
- Oversee project execution, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Mitigate risks and implement governance structures for effective sourcing management.
- Conduct financial and operational analysis to support business viability.
- Stay updated on ICT strategies, technological advancements, and service provider market trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams, senior management, and external vendors.
- Manage stakeholder communication and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to optimize sourcing strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Specific Skills
- Strong knowledge of legal and risk management aspects of sourcing.
- Experience in business case development and governance structures.
- Expertise in strategic sourcing management and business analysis (minimum 5 years).
- Understanding of ICT strategies, technological developments, and financial analysis.
- Knowledge of the service provider market and capabilities.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies.
General Skills
- At least 8 years of experience in business management with ICT applications.
- Experience in business process development and optimization (BPM).
- Fluency in Dutch (CEFR Level C2) for effective communication.
- Strong ability in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Solid understanding of project management aspects, including cost estimation, coordination, and planning.
