We are seeking an experienced DevOps Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure. This role requires a deep technical understanding of cloud-native solutions, AWS Cloud Management, and CI/CD pipelines. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to automation, deployment, and operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Management & Infrastructure

  • Manage and optimize AWS Cloud environments.
  • Design and implement cloud-native solutions.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and best practices in cloud environments.

CI/CD & Automation

  • Implement and maintain continuous integration & continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Use Bamboo, Kubernetes, and Terraform to streamline deployments.
  • Enhance automation to improve system efficiency and reliability.

Monitoring & Performance Optimization

  • Optimize cloud performance, scalability, and availability.
  • Monitor system health and respond to incidents promptly.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with development, security, and operations teams.
  • Provide technical guidance on best practices and architecture.
  • Maintain clear documentation of cloud environments and automation processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Specific Skills

  • AWS Cloud Management: Minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Cloud-Native Solutions: Minimum 8 years of experience in designing cloud-native architectures.
  • CI/CD Implementation: Hands-on experience with continuous integration and delivery.
  • Kubernetes: Minimum 5 years of experience managing container orchestration.
  • Ansible, Bamboo, Helm, and Terraform: Hands-on experience in infrastructure automation.

Sector Skills

  • Work experience in the public sector (Must have).
  • Experience working with the Flemish Government (Should have).
  • Experience in the waste processing sector (Should have).

General Skills

  • Technical Expertise: At least 8 years of experience in relevant technologies.
  • Language Proficiency: Dutch (CEFR Level C2).
  • Education: A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical/engineering field or equivalent experience in ICT technology.
