Cloud Technical Architect

Job Description

Optimus IT Services is seeking an experienced Cloud Technical Architect to lead the development and governance of cloud architecture on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing Azure-based solutions, ensuring compliance with IT standards, and guiding technical teams through the adoption of best practices.

Main Tasks:

• Develop the Cloud technical architecture and principles in collaboration with internal teams.
• Define the Azure roadmap and establish Azure governance frameworks.
• Propose and implement cloud solutions aligned with functional and non-functional business needs.
• Supervise and guide teams during the implementation of Azure solutions.
• Automate and document Azure infrastructure and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Define and maintain a cloud service catalog.

Required Profile:

Technical Skills:

• Azure Cloud Architecture Design: Minimum 5 years of proven experience (Must Have)
• Azure Governance Tools & Principles: Knowledge of Azure Policy, RBAC, Subscriptions, and Management Groups (Must Have)
• Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Azure Resource Manager, Terraform, and scripting tools (Azure CLI, Azure PowerShell) (Should Have)
• Azure DevOps: Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git repositories, and source code management (Should Have)
• Networking & Security: Understanding and implementation of the Hub & Spoke model, Virtual Networks, Routing Tables, Azure Firewall, and Network Security Groups (Must Have)
• Microsoft Data Platform & MS Fabric: Minimum 3-5 years of experience (Must Have)
• Azure Resources Expertise: App Service, Application Gateway, Azure SQL, Service Bus, Storage, Virtual Machines, Cosmos DB, DataLake, Azure Factory, Spark (Must Have)
• Azure API Management (APIM): (Nice to Have)
• TOGAF Framework Knowledge: (Nice to Have)
• Modeling Techniques (UML): (Should Have)

Language Requirements:

• Fluent French (C2 level – Reading, Writing, Speaking) (Must Have)
• English Proficiency (B2 level minimum) (Must Have)
